Duisburg Western Thrace Turkish Minority Sport Association visited ABTTF

Duisburg Western Thrace Turkish Minority Sport Association visited Federation of Western Thrace Turks in Europe (ABTTF) on 27 October. Association Chairman, Raif Bozaci and Vice-Chairman Bilgin Ilyasoglu gave information about the activities of Duisburg Association to Halit Habipoglu, Chairman of ABTTF. Raif Bozaci stated that Duisburg Western Thrace Association served minority members especially in the fields of education and sport. Bozaci stated that they were very happy to be a member association of ABTTF and proud of ABTFF’s international activities, adding that Duisburg Western Thrace Turkish Minority Sport Association would like to establish stronger links with ABTTF and give them support whenever needed. Bozaci also added that they would organize a cultural evening in Duisburg in January and it would be a great pleasure for them if ABTFF participated the night.


We will intensify cooperation with our member Associations

Habipoglu also stated that visit of Duisburg Western Thrace Turkish Minority Sport Association made them very happy and expressed ABTFF’s intention to intensify cooperation with their member associations. Accordingly, Habipoglu said that ABTTF would initiate regional meetings to reach their target and the first one would be held in Schwabach.

“Duisburg Association is one of leading Western Thrace Minority Association in North Westphalia and thus, Duisburg Association should participate all the activities of ABTTF, which is very crucial in strengthening cooperation and solidarity between minority members. We want Duisburg Association to be a active member and refresh minority members confidence once again which would serve the Western Thrace Turkish Minority to become stronger in Europe.” said Habipoglu. Duisbug Association Board wished all the best to ABTTF, expressing their happiness to visit ABTTF.
